History: The car left the factory on 9th October 1974 and was originally owned by Southwell Road Motors Ltd, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, but was not registered by them until February 1976 - I am the 7th owner. The original colour was Bracken, the car being repainted Midnight Blue in 2002, and respayed the same colour by Ashley Motor Repairs, New Milton, in June 2005. The engine underwent an extensive rebuild over the course of December 2003 and January 2004 by a previous owner. Luminition electronic ignition and a performance coil were fitted in September 2005 to overcome misfiring problems.
Owner's update December 2005 - I have acquired an 'N' registration, which is correct for the date of manufacture, so hopefully people will now stop asking me if it's converted from a rubber bumper model!
