History: The car has had 4 owners from new. The present owner had the car as a student and ran it until 1969 when he went to the USA to work. In 1969 the crankshaft broke on the way home from Beaulieu! In 1996 Mike Allison was asked to restore the car and it is now as close as possible to the way it was, when it returned to the Abingdon factory in 1932 to be overhauled and fitted with a 4-speed gearbox, which it still has. Top speed is around 65mph when its competitors of the time would struggle to reach 50mph!
