History: Dispatched from the factory on the 6th September 1961 and exported to Texas where I believe it had 3 owners over the next 29 years whilst out there. Unfortunately I have not been able to trace any of them yet. At some time it was re-sprayed red with a tan interior from the original black with red trim.

The car was re-imported in 1990 where it under went a RHD conversion, a change to spokes and a return to the original body and interior colours, but the company who carried out these jobs tended to omit small things such as nuts and rubber gaiters in areas where access is tight! Now after a bit of patience and care, rattles and wet feet are no more. No other restoration seems to have been carried out as far as I can see. The history I have for it since 1990 supports this. Its not concourse standard but I have great pride in ownership.

The photo was taken of the Splendid Oxfordshire Countryside from the Ridgeway whilst taking part in the AWC Summer Day Out to Mapledurham House
last year.
