History: We purchased the B as a V8 but it had been originally a rubber bumper 1.8. She has been resprayed from Blaze to Tartan Red and all but the body shell replaced. The engine is a slightly tuned V8 from a SD1 and gives just over 170BHP.

She was rebuilt as a tourer and her first trip was to the USA/Canada last year. We shipped her over by boat and drove 4000 miles around the North of the US and Canada visiting MG2008 and the British V8 2008 shows.

We stopped off in Ottawa to get married. Our witnesses were the Ottawa MG Club. It was a fantastic occasion and as the new gearbox had broken the day before the wedding I spend the first 3 days of married life removing the engine and box with the very helpful MG Ottawans. We rebuilt the box from spares loaned by a local ex-pat and managed the last 2000 miles without any problems.

We are now looking forward to attending a few local shows.
