History: My TD was built on the 31st January 1950, chassis no. TD 601, engine no. XPAG TD 930. It was sold new to an American in the UK, an export car, and he took it with him on his return to the States. It was found in 1990 in the same family ownership, having been stored for over 20 years with some 55,000 miles on the clock. The car was returned to the UK in 1990 and subsequently sold at auction at Stoneleigh Warwickshire in October of that year. The purchaser ( my boss ) then stored it untouched for another 7 years until I persuaded him to sell it to me in January 1997. I then stripped the car down to its bare chassis, rebuilt it and had it back on the road for November 1997, with its age related registration CSJ 816. The car has all its original body panels and engine suitably restored to its present condition. I have used the car at home and abroad and have covered some 30,000 miles since.
