2008 – Cheque Presentation & Re-opening

25th October 2008

The MG Museum re-opened on 25th October 2008 in its original quarters on the top floor of the Abingdon County Hall Museum. The County Hall Museum has obtained Heritage funding for the main building, including a lift to the main hall, but the MG Museum still has to raise funds to further develop its own room.

To help with this, the Abingdon Works Centre donated £500 to the fund, an oversized cheque for which was accepted by Abingdon Mayor Pat Lonagon, on behalf of the Museum.

Our Car of The Month for April is Barry Graham's 1967 MG Midget - not a car that sits in the garage wrapped in cotton wool - as you'll see from the photos Barry enjoys his Midget to the full.
