January 2012 – 1968 MGB Roadster
Originally shipped to W Watson & Co, Liverpool (BMC dealers) and sold pre Christmas 1968. By the early 1970s the car had moved to Kent and, by the end of the decade, into AWC territory, arriving back in Abingdon (by now in Oxon), 20 years after she had left.
Ultimately restored in Abingdon just prior to our purchase.
Still a very enjoyable drive and has been used on several holidays, including Cornwall, Brittany (via Devon!) and Normandy, as well as years of Club events.
The holiday trips caused us to add headrests, which is the main departure from the original MkII specification.
