July 2013 – 2004 MG ZT-T 260SE
n 2006 I needed an estate car for work and having had many MGs and a company fuel card I thought an MG ZTT V8 would be the car to go for!
Originally supplied by Phoenix-Cars of Chorley, one of a group of garages owned by a member of the Phoenix four, it was first registered on 24th January 2005. However it sat in the showroom until June of that year until purchased by a Mr B McKaye.

Just over a year later, at the point I was looking, it had found its way to Bugle Inn Garage of Euxton. In their their showroom with just 3500 miles on the clock it was as new and a deal was done. Today the odometer reads just 32000 and luckly, apart from tyres and routine servicing it has been just great.
This SE model is fully equipped with Sat Nav, Climate Control, TV, Cruise Control, Sun Roof, Heated Leather seats, etc, etc. The only mods I’ve made are the addition of roof bars, I liked the look, and also a C&L Upper Intake Plenum together with a Ford Racing 70mm Throttle Body. Surprisingly for such a big engine it can feel somewhat sluggish at low rpm and the new Plenum and TB really help.
