History

Current mods include; 5 Speed gearbox and quickshift action, front and rear vertical link suspension – AVO adjustable shockers. 11/16″ anti-roll bar, 340lb Lowered springs on front. Rear main oil seal kit, polybushes all round. Lumenition Optronic ignition. Electric screen washers. KAD 4-pot calipers, EBC discs and Mintex 1144 pads.

Stainless steel radiator grille, mohair full tonneau, new laminated windscreen and rubbers. New Cl. master cylinder. New mohair hood with custom ordered larger window. Mk IV radio console – Sony CD radio, Alpine 80watt speakers and windscreen aerial. Cigarette lighter. Rebuilt and recalibrated MGB 120mph Speedo. Louvered bonnet.

Items ready to fit; complete engine, rebored to 1340cc, new pistons/rings, mains, ends, t/washers. New Swiftune SW4 camshaft, oil pump, cam followers, refaced flywheel, new Duplex timing chain & Vernier adjustable gears. All the above fully balanced. Slark SF3, polished and ported head with 28/36 valves, new double springs, 1.5 roller tip rockers. All head and manifold studs replaced with ARP items. New high capacity water pump – less by-pass with 4.75″ large pulley. Rebuilt and recurved Lucas distributor. New HIF 44 (1 3/4″ Carb on Titan manifold, K & N Filter, Maniflow 3 branch exhaust manifold – Zircotec heat treated. Maniflow single box silencer and pipes.
