March 2018 – 1967 MGB V8 Roadster

History

Having recently retired from the Fire and Rescue service after 42 years I wanted to ensure that my retirement was busy, so being a practical sort, I thought that owning a classic car may assist in filling any gaps.

I was fortunate to be able to source the car locally from an enthusiast who had spent around 10 years completely rebuilding it – he had bought the car as the low mileage was thought to be genuine and the car was very sound. He purchased the car from a doctor in Nottingham who had own the car for 15 years and between them had only managed manage to put a further 4000 onto the total mileage on the clock over the past 25 years. The car has been improved with electronic ignition, upgraded front discs, servo, telescopic dampers, stainless steel exhaust, K&N filters and an electronic fan

A feature of the car is the new Magnolia leather and walnut interior, giving the cars interior nice contrast to the Teal blue body
