September 2017 – 1964 MG 1100

History

I bought this car after selling my ZS180 with a view to competing in the Luffield Cars Speed Championship with it as nobody had used this type of car in that Championship before (people have raced them though).

I have had to carry out various work to get it in a fit state and it is now reasonably reliable, but like all old cars, it needs constant attention. I have done four events so far this year including the sprint at Silverstone on 18th June.
