Yarnton Nurseries MG Display 2017

Many thanks to all who turned out on Sunday 10th September for our first display at Yarnton Nurseries. Despite the promise of unsettled weather there was a good turnout from T-Types to a GS with most models in-between being represented during the day for the rolling display. With the Nurseries having displayed posters announcing the event for a few weeks, as well as advertising it in the local papers, there was good interest from the public visiting the Nurseries with some saying they’d only come along to see the cars! With the MG owners being offered discount on food and drink in the restaurant all day, perhaps some of them only came along to eat! Local MG dealer, Lodge Hill Garage also supported the event by bringing along an MG3 and a GS.

Many thanks also to Yarnton Nurseries for providing two sets of vouchers to be awarded to “The Car I’d most like to take home”; one set as voted by the MG drivers and the other as voted by visitors to the Nurseries. These were presented by Richard Gibbs, Yarnton Nurseries Food & Beverages Manager to John & Jenny Inness for their MGB and to Tony Watts for his MGB GT V8.
